I have been treated by a number of different acupuncturists over the years for various problems and Mei-Lin is by far the best. She is highly skilled and has a warm and compassionate manner with her patients. I recently had a very annoying case of tinnitus -- nothing life-threatening, but it interfered a lot with sleep and my ability to concentrate. This condition is notoriously difficult to treat and western medicine has virtually nothing to offer. A respected ENT suggested that I try acupuncture, as it had worked for a number of his patients. Indeed, the tinnitus cleared up completely after only 3 treatments with Mei-Lin.

Mei-Lin is warm, friendly and makes you feel immediately at ease. Additionally, she asks good questions and listens well. Her needling technique is very good (I've seen quite a few acupuncturists in my day) and she is extremely knowledgeable about TCM principles (at a theoretical and conceptual level), but also skilled in her assessment and application of those principles.

Overall, this course of treatment has been one of the most successful health-related experiences I've had, and all praise is due to Mei-Lin for being an incredibly capable partner. Thank you.

I've known Mei-Lin for over a year and followed her to Bethesda Acupuncture and Wellness when it opened. She is absolutely great: She is very thorough and careful in her examinations and intuitively understands symptoms (even when I explain them poorly). She is also extremely well-versed in traditional chinese medicine and explains very clearly what she is treating for and what each individual needle point treats. I can feel the effect of the treatment even as I receive it (while lying in a very comfortable massage-bed), and her treatment has helped me enormously. As well as being technically outstanding, she is very supportive, kind, and caring.
